Busy!! Busy!!! BUSY!!!

Busy! Busy!Busy!!!! School starts in less than a week!!! I decided to my my girls these cut little purses for the first day of school. I am going to fill them with little goodies for their back packs.
I used the Pretty Purses file from SVGAttic.com.. I wish I could tell you what kind of paper I used but I am notorious for buying random paper on sale or at yard sales. I don't really care what brand it is, if I like it, I like it.

I also used pop dots to give the flowers a bit of shape. Along with a button center. Flat flowers on such a pretty purse? I think not. ;)
3 Pretty purses for my 3 pretty girls on the first day of school.

CLAY!!!

Hey Tiff can you make me....???? I get asked a lot to do clay work. I don't feel I am all that great at it. It does all SCREAM Tiffany made it!!! But I still do it because people enjoy it.                                                     I have gotten better over the years and I enjoy working with it. Lately everyone has wanted the"clay critters "to be on the dark side.

This set was made for my sisters wedding.

The Happy Couple holding my Clay Couple

This is a couple I did for friend of my moms. I have never met them and really have no idea what they look like. This pic was taken before I went in a touched up the face. They were still on the baking stand.

These I made as a gift for my brother and his wife.

My aunt asked me to make this set for her cake topper.

I don't charge anything for them, all I ask is that they get me the clay I need to complete them. I do enjoy it and it is only one of the many things I create. :)

Coloring fun.

I haven't been on her in FOREVER and I have a group of ladies that are making me feel like I am in the dark without a blog...LOL. They are pushing me out of my comfort zone and I must say I kinda like it.

SOOOO lets get started.
I have a good friend that is a true artist. She has talent that oozes from any medium she uses. I admit I am envious of her. I recently discovered Digi stamps. I approached her with the idea of doing up some basic sketches for me to use in some of my mixed media work. Not that there aren't some lovely stamps out there, but because I wanted something that no one else has nor could get. She came up with some beautiful ladies that each represent some she and I both share in common.

These are what they looked like after I took to coloring one afternoon.

I love figures without faces. Without faces I can make them "feel" anything I choose just by the colors or the surroundings I use.

Something playful...who doesn't like Bubbles?

This is a project I used with one of the ladies I colored. It was for a mixed media challenge that I truly enjoyed!!!

Craft store Opps

So I made the mistake of going into the craft store with a list a budget and coupons in hand. See whenever I do that I very rarely come out with what I intended to go in after. In this instance I was after a multi-pack of sculpey, glass beads, manly findings and spellbinders. I never even made it to the "die cut" area got to caught up in the bead area. Didn't find exactly what I needed there. I did get sculpey but only in flesh tone. Still there was a really good sale on spellbinders and I REALLY wanted to take advantage of it. I was way below budget, which really irritates me. Great!!!! I saved some money, but ticked because I could have spent it on goodies for the Sizzix.
SO you may be asking what are my plans with the clay? Well I had a bit of a brain whirl the other day while watching "The Rite". "Dainty Demons" cute little demons, you know the ones that you know ran off with your keys when you are already 10 mins late? Or they ran off with just one of my daughters FAVORITE shoes and she refuses to wear another pair. Why my cats let them run through the house without so much as a bat of the paw is beyond me. They will be in the beginning stages tomorrow and I will put up pics of my progress.
I have tons of projects in the works and can't seem to stay focused on just one at the moment. No one says I HAVE to finish any of them.....so I say...all in good time.....all in good time......

Crafty goodness

Crafty Goodness.
All things crafty.
Glue,paper,metal,glass,fabric,clay,wax,yarn,fiber,stamps,digi stamps.
Anything that can be made into something else makes me happy. My tool of choice? My hands!!! Yes, I have tons of tools in my crafty arsenal but I prefer my hands to tear, smear, mold, crumple, flatten, fold ect.
So many crafty things to share with you. So lets get started........
Right now I have around 6 projects in the works and about 100 in the planning phase ;). My brain is always whirling with new crafty ideas. If I only had the time to do all that I wanted to do.
